Food Carts

Zohmygoodness the food on the coast is absolutely amazing. I was told that the food cart scene in Portland was something to behold and I was not disappointed. Full blocks of food carts – all different types. I probably did three different passes before deciding on one. Then I did another pass and re-decided. Thai food it was.  The lady was an absolute sweetheart. She asked me how hot I wanted it my dish. I asked her if this was North American levels or Thai levels. She said Thai and asked if I had been to Thailand. When I said I had and told her where I went she asked if I spoke any Thai. When I replied ‘nit noy’ she squealed and handed me a water bottle before adding more spice.
